Open your Hulu Account page in a computer or mobile browser, then select Cancel under Your Subscription and follow the prompts. You keep access to Hulu or your bundle plan until the end of the current billing cycle. If Roku, Amazon, Apple, Spotify, the Disney Bundle or a TV provider bills you, cancel with that company.

Billed directly by Hulu
Hulu directs you to the Account page in a browser rather than to a TV or console app.
- Sign in to your Hulu Account page on a computer or mobile browser.
- Under Your Subscription, select Cancel.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm.
- Check the billing-cycle end date and keep the confirmation.
Hulu also offers a pause of up to 12 weeks instead of cancelling, after which the subscription resumes and billing restarts automatically.
Pause instead of cancel
Useful if you only want a break. Hulu says pausing is not available to annual subscribers, to accounts on hold, to gift-card or promotional subscribers, or to third-party billed subscribers other than Amazon and Roku.
- Open your Account page and look for the pause option under your subscription.
- Choose how long to pause, up to Hulu’s 12-week maximum.
- Note the resume date — Hulu restarts billing automatically at the end of the pause.
Billed by Roku, Amazon, Apple, Spotify or a TV provider
Hulu is sold through many partners, and the Account page will show that a third party manages the payment.
- Check your Account page or the charge description to identify the biller.
- Cancel in that company’s subscription settings — for example my.roku.com for a Roku-billed plan, or Apple Subscriptions for an Apple-billed one.
- Keep the partner’s confirmation and check whether a bundle price changes.
Before you cancel.
- Check whether you are on standalone Hulu or a bundle with Disney+ and ESPN — cancelling one element does not necessarily end the others.
- List your add-ons (premium channels, Hulu + Live TV extras). These are billed alongside the base plan and should be reviewed separately.
- If you only need a break, compare the pause option against cancelling before you decide.
What happens next?
- Access normally continues to the end of the current billing cycle; you are not charged again after that.
- Your profiles, watch history and saved items stay with the account unless you separately delete it.
- Hulu does not promise a refund for the remainder of a paid cycle. Keep the cancellation confirmation in case a charge appears afterwards.

Can I pause Hulu instead of cancelling?
Yes, for up to 12 weeks. Hulu resumes the subscription automatically at the end of the pause and charges the card on file again. Pausing is not offered to annual subscribers, accounts on hold, gift-card or promotional subscribers, or third-party billed subscribers other than Amazon and Roku.
I cancelled Hulu but I am still being charged.
Check who took the payment. A Hulu subscription billed by Roku, Amazon, Apple, Spotify, the Disney Bundle or a TV provider is not stopped by cancelling in the Hulu app. Cancel in that company’s account settings and keep its confirmation.
Does cancelling Hulu cancel Disney+ and ESPN in the bundle?
Not automatically. Bundle elements can be billed separately. Check each service on your account and cancel the ones you no longer want.
Does deleting my Hulu account cancel the subscription?
Treat them as separate actions. Cancel the subscription first and keep the confirmation, then request account deletion if you also want your data removed.
Do I lose Hulu access immediately when I cancel?
Normally no — Hulu says you keep access to Hulu or your bundle plan until the end of the current billing cycle. A free trial cancelled early can behave differently, so check the end date shown on your confirmation.
