A few on your phone. A few in your inbox. Others hiding in your statements. Here’s how to bring them together, spot what you no longer use, and stay ahead of the next renewal with Subex.
Receipts can connect an unfamiliar charge to a service and the account behind it.
Search each email account you use for “subscription”, “receipt”, “invoice”, “renewal” and “trial”. Check archived messages too.
Match the service, account email and billing provider on the receipt. Look for annual plans as well as monthly payments.
For a free trial, find the trial-end date and review its renewal terms. Confirm the current status in the provider’s account page.
An old receipt is a lead, not proof that a plan is still active. A renewal notice or current account details can help confirm it.

Look for charges you stopped noticing
Find subscriptions paid directly to a provider, including memberships and recurring bills.
Review the accounts and cards you use for online payments. Look back at least 12 months so annual renewals are less likely to be missed.
Look for repeating merchant names and amounts. Match unfamiliar descriptions with receipts or the provider’s billing page before counting them as subscriptions.
Check payment services you use, such as PayPal, and bills from your mobile or internet provider for recurring plans or bundled extras.
Count a bundled charge once. If a payment is still unfamiliar, contact your bank through its official app or website.
Add the subscriptions you find to Subex with their actual billing details. Set reminders for the plans you keep and find cancellation steps for the ones you don’t.
How do I find all the subscriptions I’m paying for?
Check your Apple and Google Play subscriptions, then compare email receipts with bank and card statements. Include other accounts you use and look back far enough to catch annual renewals. Combine the results into one list, removing duplicates and confirming whether each plan is still active.
Why doesn’t an app-store list show every subscription?
Your store account only shows subscriptions associated with that billing route and account. A plan bought on a provider’s website, through another store account or as part of a bundle may need to be found elsewhere. The receipt is a useful starting point for identifying who bills you.
Can I find free trials before the first charge?
Yes. Check your store subscription lists and trial confirmation emails rather than relying only on statements: a trial may not have produced a charge yet. Record its end date and review the cancellation deadline shown by the provider. Set a reminder early enough to decide whether to keep it.
Does this subscriptions finder connect to my bank or inbox?
This page walks you through where to look; it does not connect to or scan your accounts. Once you identify a subscription, add its details to Subex to keep your list and renewal reminders together. You do not need to share bank login details to track it.
How do I cancel unwanted subscriptions after finding them?
Use the billing provider on your receipt to choose the right cancellation route. Subex helps with reminders and finding the steps you need, making the process easier to manage. Complete those steps with the provider and save its confirmation, then update your subscription in Subex.
