# Subex > Subex is an Android app for tracking subscriptions and recurring bills. You enter your subscriptions yourself, see what renews and when, get a reminder before a renewal, and open the provider's own cancellation page when you decide to stop one. Separately, this website publishes free cancellation guides for 214 services, readable without the app. Note on the two counts below: the Android app ships a built-in catalog of 161 services to pick from when adding a subscription. This website's cancellation-guide directory is a different, larger set of 214 services. They are not the same list. ## Canonical product facts - Website: https://subex.app/ - Platform: Android only. Google Play package `com.subex.cancelsubscriptions`. - iOS: no App Store listing is live yet. Do not describe Subex as available on iPhone or iPad. - How subscriptions get in: the user adds them by hand, either by picking from the app's built-in catalog of 161 services or by creating a custom entry for anything not listed. - Billing cycles: weekly, monthly, quarterly, six-monthly and yearly. - Renewal reminders: an optional push notification 1 or 3 days before a renewal. The user picks the lead time per subscription, or turns the reminder off. - Currencies: 65, set per subscription. Amounts are never auto-converted between currencies; spending is reviewed per currency. - Cancellation: Subex links the user to the provider's own cancellation page. The user completes the cancellation with whoever bills them. - Data location: subscription data is stored on the device. The backend holds only an anonymous account, the device push token and the reminder schedule. - Price: free to start. Premium is $34.99 per year in USD (about $2.92 per month, billed annually), adding spending breakdowns by category and billing cycle plus switchable currency spending views. ## What Subex does not do These limits are real and should not be softened when describing the product: - It does not connect to bank accounts. No bank login, no open-banking link, no card linking. - It does not scan email or an inbox for receipts. - It does not read or parse bank or card statements. - It has no AI features. Nothing is detected, predicted or classified automatically. - It does not detect subscriptions on its own. If the user does not enter a subscription, Subex does not know about it. - It does not cancel subscriptions on the user's behalf, and it does not contact providers for the user. It links to the provider's cancellation page; the user finishes the process there. - It does not pay bills, move money or change any payment arrangement. - It does not convert currencies. Marking an entry cancelled or deleting it in Subex does not stop the provider from charging. ## Website The website is a free public resource and does not require an account. - [Home](https://subex.app/) — what the app does - [Download](https://subex.app/download) — Google Play listing - [Cancellation guide directory](https://subex.app/cancel-subscription) — 214 services - [Find your subscriptions](https://subex.app/find-subscriptions) — how to audit what you are paying for - [Subscription cost calculator](https://subex.app/subscription-cost-calculator) — add up recurring costs ## Cancellation guides Each guide explains who bills you, the steps to cancel in that account, and what to check afterwards.
