THE SHORT ANSWER
Start here.
If Disney+ bills you directly, sign in on the Disney+ website, open your Account page and use the cancel option under your subscription. Access continues to the end of the current term. If a third party bills you — Apple, Google, Amazon, Roku, a Hulu or ESPN bundle, or a provider such as Xfinity or Verizon — cancel with that partner instead.

FOLLOW THE RIGHT BILLING ROUTE
Cancel Disney+, step by step.
Billed directly by Disney+
Use a web browser rather than a TV app. Your subscription and billing details live on the Disney+ Account page.
- Sign in at disneyplus.com and open your Account page.
- Find your subscription and open its details.
- Choose the cancellation option and complete the confirmation prompts.
- Check the end date Disney+ shows and keep the confirmation email.
Cancelling does not delete your Disney+ account or the MyDisney account you use across other Disney services.
On a Disney+, Hulu or ESPN bundle
A bundle contains more than one service, and cancelling one part does not automatically end the others.
- Check on your Account page which services the bundle includes and which company bills it.
- Cancel the Disney+ element through the biller shown there.
- Cancel any Hulu, ESPN or third-party billed subscription separately if you no longer want it — Disney says those continue at the then-current price unless you cancel them too.
Billed by Apple, Google, Amazon, Roku or a TV provider
Disney+ is widely resold. When a partner collects the payment, Disney+ cannot always cancel it for you.
- Check the Account page or your receipt to identify the billing partner.
- Cancel in that partner’s subscription settings — Apple Subscriptions, Google Play subscriptions, Amazon’s subscription page, my.roku.com, or your TV provider’s account.
- Keep that partner’s confirmation rather than relying on the Disney+ app.
Before you cancel.
- Identify the biller before you start. Disney+ sold through Apple, Google, Amazon, Roku, Hulu, or a TV or mobile provider is managed by that company, not by Disney.
- Note whether you are on a monthly, annual or promotional term — Disney says the access end date varies with the plan.
- If you want the account gone too, cancel first. Disney warns that requesting account deletion before cancelling can leave you still being charged.
What happens next?
- Access normally continues to the end of the current subscription term rather than stopping on the day you cancel.
- Your Disney+ profiles, watchlist and MyDisney account are not deleted by cancelling.
- If a third party bills you and you delete the Disney+ account, Disney says you lose access immediately and can no longer manage the subscription from Disney+.
GOOD TO KNOW
Questions, answered.
Does cancelling Disney+ delete my account?
No. Disney says cancelling does not delete your Disney+ account or the MyDisney account used across other Disney services. Deletion is a separate request — and Disney advises cancelling the subscription first, or you may continue to be charged.
Can I still watch Disney+ after I cancel?
Yes, normally until the end of the current subscription term. The exact end date depends on whether you were billed monthly, annually, or inside a promotional period.
I cancelled Disney+ but I am still being charged — why?
The most common cause is a third-party biller: Apple, Google, Amazon, Roku, Hulu, or a TV or mobile provider. Cancelling in the Disney+ app does not stop a payment collected by another company. Check the charge description and cancel with the company that appears on it.
If I cancel Disney+ does my Hulu or ESPN subscription stop too?
No. Disney states that when you cancel the Disney+, Hulu, ESPN Bundle, your original Hulu, ESPN or third-party billed subscription continues at the then-current price and terms unless you cancel it separately.
Can I cancel Disney+ from my TV?
Not reliably. Use a web browser and your Disney+ Account page, or the partner’s own account settings. A TV app shows you what you can watch, not necessarily who bills you.
