THE SHORT ANSWER
Start here.
Apple TV+ is billed by Apple, so you cancel it in Apple’s subscription settings. On iPhone or iPad: Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, tap the subscription, then Cancel Subscription. On the web you can also use tv.apple.com: account icon, Settings, then Manage next to Subscriptions, then Cancel Subscription.

FOLLOW THE RIGHT BILLING ROUTE
Cancel Apple TV+, step by step.
On iPhone or iPad
Use the Apple Account that was charged — a family member’s subscription must be cancelled from their own Apple Account.
- Open Settings and tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap the Apple TV+ subscription.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
If there is no Cancel button, or the entry shows an expiry message, the subscription is already cancelled and will simply run out.
On the web at tv.apple.com
Useful if you no longer have an Apple device to hand.
- Go to tv.apple.com and sign in with your Apple Account.
- Choose the account icon at the top of the page, then Settings.
- Scroll to Subscriptions and choose Manage.
- Choose Cancel Subscription.
On a Mac or Windows PC
On Windows, Apple’s own Apple Music or Apple TV app handles subscriptions.
- On a Mac, click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, scroll to Settings, and next to Subscriptions click Manage.
- On Windows, open the Apple Music or Apple TV app, click your name at the bottom of the sidebar and choose View My Account, then scroll to Settings and next to Subscriptions click Manage.
- Find the subscription, click Edit, then click Cancel Subscription.
Before you cancel.
- Check whether you are on Apple TV+ alone or inside an Apple One bundle — you cannot cancel just the TV+ part of Apple One; you change or cancel the bundle itself.
- Confirm which Apple Account was charged. Subscriptions are invisible from any other account.
- If the subscription arrived free with a device purchase or a carrier offer, note that the offer terms govern when it would otherwise start charging.
What happens next?
- Apple TV+ normally remains available until the end of the period you have already paid for, and the subscription entry shows that date.
- Cancelling a subscription does not delete your Apple Account, your purchases or anything in your library.
- Apple treats refunds as a separate request through its purchase history; cancelling does not itself trigger one.
GOOD TO KNOW
Questions, answered.
Can I cancel just Apple TV+ inside an Apple One bundle?
No. Apple One is a single subscription covering several services. You manage or cancel Apple One itself rather than removing one service from it. Apple also notes that when you are billed for Apple One, existing separate subscriptions to the included services (other than iCloud+) are automatically cancelled.
Why is there no Cancel Subscription button?
Apple shows an expiry message instead of a Cancel button once a subscription is already cancelled. If the subscription is missing entirely, you are signed in to a different Apple Account than the one that was charged.
I got Apple TV+ free with a device — do I need to cancel it?
If the offer is set to roll into a paid subscription, it appears in your Apple Subscriptions list with a renewal date. Cancel it there before that date if you do not want it to continue. Check the date Apple shows rather than assuming.
Can I cancel Apple TV+ without an Apple device?
Yes. Go to tv.apple.com, sign in, open the account icon then Settings, and use Manage next to Subscriptions. Apple also offers subscription management at account.apple.com.
Does cancelling delete my watchlist?
No. Your Apple Account, watchlist and any films or shows you bought outright remain. Only Apple TV+ streaming access ends.
